Blue Gum Forest, Blue Mountain

There are a number of walks in and around Blue Gum Forest in the Blue Mountain, from Victoria falls to Govetts Leap or Grand Canyon. The track can be muddy full of leaches in the rainy days. Acacia Flat is usually the destination point for camping overnight. There is no fire ban except in the Summer.
I've seen a pack of wild horses in the valley, amazing! The river was as cold as ice, it actually hurts to place your feet in the water more than a few seconds. After saying this, you have to boil the water from the river if you want to drink from it
