Lost and found...
Europe was a complete freedom. I traveled solo to places I wanted to see, stay or leave as I please; I hardly ever booked accommodations in advance. It was culturally different, people looked different too just few hours bus rode away.
I traveled most of the Western European countries (not including the UK and Scandinavia) on Busabout hop-in-hop-out, local trains and local busses. In the city I often walked, or caught the Metro system, RER and bus. In Amsterdam I hired a bike everyday
Around the corner everywhere, there must be a local cafe or bar or small restaurants offering cheaper food with original charms. In contrast, some people did try to rip me off around the train stations. The locals took me around the city, invited me to lunch and offered me free accommodation.
It is a global backpacker villages out there. I enjoyed the company of backpackers and locals alike. I found that backpackers often have open and free minds. The local were nice and helpful. Language was, surprisingly, not a barrier. Conversing with the locals with sign languages was one of the highlights of the whole adventure.
Last but not least, I had got a neutral environment where I can think and think and think...
