Six Foot Track

May 2000, Hiking & Camping, 2 days.

Six Foot Track walk follows the original bridle track connecting Katoomba and Jenolan Caves in the Blue Mountain, New South Wales, Australia.

A group of us started walking from the middle of the circuit heading towards the Cox River and camped overnight next to the river. There is no fire ban around the camping site,  we lit a huge fire place, enough to kill the freezing night. The sky seemed much brighter then.

On the way back, we had almost caught up by heavy blizzard. Right after we arrived back to our cars, the snows started falling. Soon after it's gotten heavy and forced us to take cover in the Majestic Hotel.
